All students of the college are "Ipso Facto" members of the college Council. The union will have a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a General Secretary, and representation from Women Students - General Secretary (Women). The union office bearers are elected from among the students of the college both P.G. and U.G.

For the post of General Secretary (Women), only women candidates are eligible to contest and vote.

The office bearers of the union arrange monthly meetings to discuss student issues and also invite eminent personalities to meet the student body.
