All students of the college are "Ipso Facto" members of the college Council. The Council will have a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a General Secretary, and representation from Women Students - General Secretary (Women). The Council office bearers are elected from among the students of the college both P.G. and U.G.

For the post of General Secretary (Women), only women candidates are eligible to contest and vote.

The College encourages te students through the activities of the students council to enhance their soft skills and  provide opportunities to develop their leadership qualities.

They are encouraged to organize Simars, Symbosia, Workshop on various topics concerning the all round development of the students in general.
