Curriculum Development Associations (CDA)

With a view to foster development of students talent in co-curricular activities such as debates, seminars, oratories, essay writing and quiz competitions as well as to encourage their histrionic talents, the following associations function at GNC:

• English Literary and Debating Association
• Hindi Association
• Mathematics Association
• Physics Association
• Chemistry Association
• Zoology Association
• Botany Association
• Defence and Strategic Studies Association
• Corporate Secretaryship Association
• Commerce Association
• Economics Association
• Fine Arts Association

The Principal is the ex-officio president for all the Associations, and he will nominate a member of the staff each year as a vice-president for each of these associations. The student secretaries are either elected by the students of the department or nominated by the Head of the Department.

Rotaract Club (RC GNC)

GNC has a rotaract club to foster development of leadership qualities, organizational skills and administrative talents among the students. An annual membership fee is required to join.

Youth Red Cross (YRC)

The Youth Red Cross unit became functional in 1999 in order to provide yet another social service avenue to the motivated and socially oriented students of the college.

Women Students Forum (WSF)

The women students shall join WSF to organize and participate in specific programmes and activities to promote their art, skill and talents.
